| Does anyone remember Mrs.Herman who taught 3rd grade in the fifties at Saints?Couldn't remember her first name, just remember always calling her Mrs.Herman.Ironic in looking back at life how it dawns on oneself that I never knew her first name.I remember the little unique things she did out of the ordinary. She never chastised us like the nuns and would buy little rewards if you improved in your studies. The words from the song"Little THINGS MEAN ALOT"do not ring hollow to me. |

I recall her. She never had a first name, unless it was MRS. Yeah she was really nice. _________________ If Fish Kept Their Mouths Closed ... |

| I'm from the Class of '74. I had her in 5th grade. Her name was Blanche Hull Hermann. |

| Thank you very much for filling that void.Reading your post brought up another name from that time, namely Mrs.Gates.Back then there were few secular teachers. |
