A collection of news clippings

On Veteran's Day in 2006, Mark Crist dug into his closet and pulled out his father's scrapbook of clippings from World War II. Seeing clippings about others from West Hudson, Mark sent them to me for inclusion on this site. I am posting these and seeking similar news clippings about other KHS alumni who have served in the military whether in WWII or at other times.

  8. Lt. Louis J. Sode (earns wings) MC
  9. 2nd Lt. Henry J. Stumpf (died in training crash, 1943) DSS
  10. Pvt. Trumpowitz (wounded in Italy) MC
  11. Lt. William Waldheim (earns Distinguished Flying Cross) MC
  12. Boris M. Zubko (earns wings, cited for bravery, becomes flying instructor) MC
